The iPhone also has a very nice voicemail function. It?s a so called visual voicemail. With the visual voicemail you can go directly to any message. You don?t have to listen to the other messages first. I think this is a very nice iPhone feature. Now you don?t have to waste any time by listening to other messages?

The iPhone features a HTML email client and the best mobile browser, Safari. You can easily synchronize bookmarks from your Mac or PC.

iPhone Google maps feature

With Google maps and the maps application from the iPhone you can view maps and satellite images. You can also go directly to traffic information. A nice feature nowadays?

There are a lot more iPhone features but the four I mentioned are a few reasons why I will by the iPhone. I also like the touch function. No more buttons to press...

Another thing I like are it's looks. It has a nice 3.5 screen. I only think that the iPhone is rather big. I don't think it will fit in pocket anymore.. But with such a nice looking phone I'm not embarrassed to show it to the world!

Customer Review: iPhone 3G

Using this as my car solution for my iPhone 3G. When the package was delivered, I was a little scared, because nowhere on the roadtrip package did it say anything about iPhone compatibility.

I opened it up anyway and found that there was no dock adapter for the iPhone, luckily I found an included one that fits my iPhone + PowerSupport AirJacket case. Snug but fits well.

I went to the car and plugged it in and then the iPhone. I get an annoying "do you want to use airplane mode" message, and auto scanned using the instructions provided by Griffin. It found a few FM stations and I was able to tune in to my iPhone. Pandora, Slacker radio, and Wunderradio work just fine. Oh yah, the iPod part of the iPhone works too. I tried the 3.5mm jack to plug in my cassette adapter, but the quality was horrible. the FM is fine for me, I'm not terribly picky, as long as the signal is fine.

The neck is sturdy enough, it charges my iPhone and connects it to my audio system. My only gripe is that I get that annoying message when I plug in my iPhone... but that isn't really the RoadTrips fault.

I'll try to update this review when I get more 'car time' in. Goodbye XM radio.

Cisco sues Apple

Cisco accused Apple in a suit filed in United States District Court for the Northern District of California of willingly infringing its trademark when it announced the new iPhone at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco on Tuesday. Apple tried to get the rights to the iPhone name several times before but failed. Cisco and Apple are set to make a deal on a way they can both use the iPhone name. If Cisco goes to court with Apple, Apple is confident they will prevail. There are already several companies using the iPhone name, and Apple is the only one who is using it for a cell phone. Apple applied to use the trademark in the U.S. on September 26, 2006 using a Wilmington, Del.-based front company called Ocean Telecom Services.
